We have a few announcements to make. Our first big announcement is regarding longtime moderatorangelophile’s retirement from active modding. angelophile has been a fantastic mod of this community, having been part of the mod team since April 2009, working tirelessly and without any pay to keep this comics community flowing smoothly, organized and a place where all our members can call their own.
So, we’d like to take this opportunity to thankangelophile for all the hard work he’s done, the time he’s put into helping make this community the amazing place it is, and wish him the best. But it’s not goodbye. You will no doubt still see him around the community as he will be staying on as an advisory member of the moderating team and helping out during special events, mod vacations etc.
Our second big announcement is that we are welcoming two new moderators to the Scans Daily mod team. We were sad to seeschmevil and now angelophile leave us, but are excited to announce our new moderators, salinea and shobogan. I have no doubt you have seen them around. They are excellent additions to the Scans Daily mod team and we are happy to have them on board. These new overlords moderators will be available for all your questions, and to help make sure both this community, and our sister community, NoScans_Daily, on Livejournal, run smoothly.
