Casstoons: the Faerie Queen - Book 1 - Pilot



Since the Berkshire Lady strip seemed to go down well, heres the pilot of my attempt at an adaption of Edmund Spenser's fantasy series, the Faerie Queene, which was written in the 1600s for Elizabeth the First.

Reading through it, I thought that besides it being entertaining in it's own right, albeit drenched in some extremely archaic language, that there was enough there for a pretty funny adventure comic.

Here's the first section, where I try to get the format and character designs down.


The second installment I'm working on now, hopefully it'll go a little more smoothly than this one.
