Here are a few scans from Journey into Mystery #626.

Loki is still gathering allies and weapons to fight the Serpent.

The God of Fear should be worried about this little devil and not Thor!

Loki traveled to Limbo and made a deal with Surtur (who ate Hel-Wolf). Loki agreed to free him in exchange for a piece of Surtur's sword.

Loki is lying.

He returns to Asgard for another piece of the puzzle.

Meanwhile, Tyr and the Disir having be chilling in Newark and scaring the shit out of the locals. Loki returns as the Serpent's Dark Asgard fills the sky over New York.

Loki's plans continue....

	Good point. Loki is good enough to lie with the truth. Surtur wouldn't have even dealt with him if he wasn't so eager to get out of Limbo and get his 'rok on. 	It's cracking me up that tactically, hitting the Serpent from two sides with Surtur AND the Destroyer is a lot more likely to put him down for the count than anything the Avengers, X-Men, etc. have been trying. 	When he made that bargain with Sutur about Asgard of old, and then Dark Asgard floats overhead, I thought to myself, "Oh, clever boy." Young!Loki is turning out to be adorable. 	I love how everything Loki does that seems oddly evil-ish is backed up with "THOR SAYS" or "IT'S FOR THOR" and he means it every time. "ohnoesevil" is negated by the adorableness that is Loki, becoming "ohLokiyouscampgiggle" and I have absolutely no problem with this. :D (Reply to this)
