Greetings True Believers!

Juggernaut/Kuurth Breaker of Stone is stomping his way to Utopia.

He must be stopped.

Easier said then done.

Enjoy!

I like the teamwork and plans. Hate the art.

Cyclops: Okay time for plan two.

Mayor: Don't you mean B?

Cyclops: that would imply I only have 26 plans.

Siryn/Dazzler team ups are always run.

And it's really cool seeing all of the underused X-men actually showing up and using their powers for once. The X-men have been this huge mutant army living on an island together for years now and we still almost never see some of these characters do anything. But I really could have done without seeing a liquid metal orgasm face.

Well...if we're dealing with a truly unstoppable force I would forget direct engagement and go for confusion and misdirection away from its target. It must have some system of perceiving its environment so theoretically those perceptions can be tampered with. A super blast of Pixie dust? Empath making him lose his sense of purpose? Lady Mastermind creating an illusion to draw the thing away and into, oh I dunno some container that gets shot into the sun?

They've been trying all that. Telepathy is a no-go, power-draining, teleporting, even changing the path itself have all failed.

I'm trying to think of what the X-Men have in their current repertoire that might be effective, and it's really hard to come up with tactics to use against Hulk-level physical might plus divine possession that apparently shrugs off everything exotic they throw at it. I suppose Illyana would be their best bet to fight it on its own level, but if we're talking about a god whose powers are equivalent to Thor's I don't know that even she'd be up to the task.

My best guess would be to use a combo of (1) Mercury insinuating herself between Juggernaut's hand and the hammer to break physical contact, (2) Magneto yanking off his helmet, and (3) Karma trying to possess him in the hope it would snap the link between Cain and the spirit in the hammer.

I like your thinking but it's mostly been covered.

1. Cain's been shown throwing the hammer and it returns to him ala Thor.

2 and 3. They already yanked it off and tried for the telepathic whammy and Emma ended up in a coma. Rogue tried for the power drain and went down for the count. Plus Santana tried possessing Juggy in the Thunderbolts but it was a no-go.
