1. They should try getting Magneto or someone to stop the hammer from returning to Cain, or at least get in it's way and slow it down. And then try having Pixie teleport him away. Even if he immediately comes back from the teleport like before, they can just keep it away from him for as long as possible and hope that he has a time limit like Thor.

Mags tried that too. His powers didn't effect the hammer and Kitty had to phase him before it turned him into street pizza.

Illyana might have better luck than that - make a stepping disk intercept the hammer in mid-throw and send it to Limbo. Mjolnir can open dimensional gates, but I don't think we've seen it do that on its own without Thor holding it and directing its power. And I know Dr. Strange has mystically yanked the hammer away from Thor before (though of course, this is Dr. Strange we're talking about).

That reminds me, way back in an Avengers/FF crossover Annihilus created some big negative energy field that neutralized Mjolnir's powers and rendered it inert when thrown across the boundary. Reed seemed to understand the principles behind the field, so if the writers remembered that there is at least one option the FF could theoretically employ against the Worthy.
