ComicBookResources.com has put out several previews for the weekend, some of them have the hardest working mutant in Marvel 616 in them. Previews for X-Force #13 and Wolverine: Best there Is #9 behind the cut.




First off, previews for Uncanny X-Force #13.

We find out WHY Wolverine went bad.



I....... knowing Logan, that actually is sound logic. Instead of Apocalypse's "Survival of the fittest" mantra he can actually point to powerful and willful entities and their plans, had he not acted. It damns him, but still, he has a point.


Now onto the other title of interest involving Logan.


That's Logan. Walks into someone else's sleeping quarters, sees someone sleeping in bliss, and begins to take off his clothes....

Infections, disease, people doing things that shouldn't be, fashion that would put a smile on Dr. Frankenfurter's face.... what's the direction of this title/major story arc and Wolverine?

Since all I've seen of Ryp's work is the stuff he did with Ellis, I kept expecting to see fountains of gore all over the place. Getting undressed in another man's bedroom and putting on pirate clothes is a nice change of pace.

The Celestials are such a pain. If they don't get what they want, they destroy the Earth. If they DO get what they want, they destroy the Earth. Voldemort/PAD's HEROES RETURN miniseries covered that. The Celestials figured that if Franklin Richards was powerful enough to create the Heroes Reborn Earth, that meant Franklin was now as powerful as a Celestial and their experiment on Earth succeeded. Thus, they would destroy the Earth as they didn't need it anymore.
