And a slight follow up to my last post regarding Indigo/Brainiac 8 in this final Teen Titans run before that pesky rebootlaunch.

half a page worth of material here bringing us I believe to 3.5 total posted pages from the issue.

...What other androids have you even fought Damian?

Wow. That's...some serious depowerment for Indigo/Brainiac 8 here. Which similarly is what Superboy-Prime faces in the story.

I could see a powerhouse or two (Supergirl, Argent or even Redstar) taking on and defeating Indigo 8 here given she's presumably not fully functioning like she was when she last fought the Teen Titans and Outsiders essentially at the same time but Robin and Red Robin? She's a Brainiac for cripes sake you'd think she was a rock 'em sock em robot or something with how they so easily dispatch her here, she's like been lowered to Gotham Street Thug.

It's almost hard to tell too if the writer simply thought Indigo and Brainiac 8 were always the same entity since what little reference is made to her story just kinda has them say Indigo betrayed them even though it was made a point that Indigo and Brainiac 8 were separate minds/ programs in the same body with Brainiac 8 having the major control of the body and Indigo being apparently unaware of her existence until the Insiders arc.

But what's most sad is that no further reference is made to the character post take down. No we'll try to analyze her somehow or anything despite being a former hero.

Nope I don't get it either Indy. Just kind of a crappy way to end Indy's story before this rebootlaunch. Least she looked pretty badass in her new black outfit. Kind of a Sarah Connor look to her and I thought while odd the eye thing was a neat touch.

Ah well. Off to my fanon where my favorite ladybots chill together.

I just enjoy Tim and Damian being sort of "brotherly" in the comic scene. :)

Me three, though it seems like Damian "got over himself" rather abruptly. Maybe hanging out with Kara and Cass was the trick. Momma's Boy that he is, maybe the female role models helped him move past being a murderous brat. I presume we'll see more of this more positive version in the new 52, but then again, who knows?

Well, it looks like she's been forced to use sub-standard and less than compatible parts for repairs. She's not the super-robot from the future she used to be . . .

The Red Robin/Teen Titans crossover was the team facing nothing but Calculator robots. That's what Damian is referencing.

Has there ever been a robot superheroine that WASN'T formerly evil? All I can think of right now is Indigo, Tomorrow Woman and Jocasta...

Tomorrow Woman probably counts as formerly evil. Built to destroy the Justice League, after all.

Sort of.
T.O. Morrow strove to create à robot with a soul. The destruction of The League was a good bonus or plan B.

And now Indigo's a Jobber.

But is it worse than the Montreal Screw Job?

I did a reboot plot for Tomorrow Woman over at noscans, but using the end result out of Trinity I made her a cyborg.
