Man, been a while since I did one of this.




Nate's girlfriend was a brought-back-from-the-dead Madelyne Pryor, a woman who was a clone of his mother, Jean Grey. Kinda.


So, the real question is, is it incest if you date a clone of your mother from an alternate universe?

Wow, that is quite possibly the ugliest Forge anyone has ever drawn. And why is Captain America standing like that?


I was thinking about it a few days ago and I realized that I could actually link a bunch of my OTPs together. Enough so that the term OTP didn't really apply any more. And, frankly, I left a bunch of them out. (Storm/Jean, Hank Pym/Tigra, She-Hulk/Pug)

I'm aware that some of these pairings are a tiny bit cracktastic. Jean/Wanda makes more sense if you've read X-men: First Class. (Particularly Coover's mini-bits.) Storm/Thor makes more sense if you've read Marvel Adventures: Avengers. Madelyne Pryor/Dust makes a little sense if you've read X-men:The End, but not by much.

Poor Sooraya. She looks so unhappy. This is not the sort of situation she'd want to be in.

Mystique really got around a bit. Destiny's ghost could've come out better and it kinda clashes with the whole Icarus-as-an-angel thing I tried to pull. Probably should've been a bit more consistent with the dead folk...



Granted, I haven't read the first All New Atom book in a while, but I pretty much just remembered Amanda's only interaction with Ryan to be a tiny bit of flirting before he started dating Giganta. The baby thing just sorta seems to be coming right out of nowhere. Particularly as it was from a girl who had minimal interaction with Ryan.


Normally I'm happy when my favorite characters have babies, but this is just kinda weird.

The baby's name is Ichiro, which is Japanese. Ryan Choi is not Japanese. Yeah.



Also, I have a book of comics on sale. I might post some of 'em here later, if anyone is interested.

Hmmm... I don't recall ever seeing Madrox and She-Hulk suggested as an item, nor Goblyn Queen and Soraya come to that..

The Ryan Choi thing reminds me of Beechan and Cass- if someone who mishandles a character is given the job of cleaning things up, they still don't know what the heck they're talking about.

...yes. Yes, it is.

Or not, because she's not actually your mom. She might show up as being related to you via a DNA test, but in that case... imagine that you've been married to someone for some years, and someone injects them with a retrovirus that contains some of your DNA--is it then incest? (Please note that I'm not saying that the Nate/alternate-Maddy thing isn't skeevy, because it kind of is.)
