What I want to know is how they got that many pilots for the mechas. I'm pretty sure they didn't have that many nonogenarian hidden Nazis down in Antarctica practicing on the things, so are these all disgruntled German Hydra agents flying them on a 3-hour training course or what?

Oh, Hydra probably just walked around a few economically deprived rural towns in Australia/Canada/USA/Germany and shouted "Anyone here hate black people and immigrants?" They'd be signing up by the dozens!

Now that I think about it, I don' think all these people are Nazis/Evil/Racists, but just dudes who wanted to pilot giant mechs enough to suspend their morals.
