Some fun from my new favourite named cartoonist - Caanan Grall

Chanced upon a fun couple of commissions up at CAF and as a result, found the website of Caanan Grall, an Australian cartoonist (though now living in Canada)



He has a couple of cool web comic series on his website, including "Max Overacts" a sort of Calvin and Hobbes without the Hobbes series, as an aspiring young actor (VERY young, as in kindergarton) seeks to make his mark on the world, much to the exasperation of his parents and older sister.

In his mind, ANYTHING is a chance to perform, case in point!


C'mon roleplaying Cluedo (or Clue, depending on your degree of Americanicity) would be AWESOME! :)

Caanan is a brilliant artist. I fell in love with his creativity and wit from his amazing contributions to CBR's The Line It Is Drawn! and continue to be amazed by him. Someone get this guy a job, stat!

I just read through the Muppet/Thor one and it did pluck the heart-strings a little, huh?

Of course Kermit is worthy, not even a question.

My one and only complaint is I wish they put less of the movie in the designs. My quibble, doesn't take away from the story.

I love that Robin without A Cause one! (Even though Tim is the least rebellious Robin by far - any of the others would make more sense than him.)
