So... Yeah. Really expecting to start hearing about a bunch of other paralysis sufferers who've been healed.

That's an incredibly stupid stance. Following that logic, she and her father shouldn't wear glasses either, because people in third world countries can't afford them and if they have very poor eyesight they can't do anything about it.

That, however, was prior to DC's decision to place Barbara back as Batgirl anyway, regardless of what any of us - including Gail Simone - thought.
