Nightwing #1 - First pages and the red-eye explained

Now with added letters.

Found these over on tumblr, I suspect they might be from a preview copy, since they do appear to be scanned rather than released graphic images.

We've seen a couple of these pages unlettered







Image removed as it resulted in more than four pages from a MORE than recent comic.



I like that Dick's confident about things again (even if calling himself "flawless", whilst possibly accurate from any number of angles seems a little presumptive) and especially that the red eyes are not his standard look!

Yeah, Tomasi was good. But he didn't quite establish a successful other life in NY I feel, or perhaps he just wasn't given enough time to build a cast. The museum curator thing never felt right to me- especially considering he's usually considered activity orientated and not particularly academic (though of course when it comes to science, criminology etc. expert but that's vastly different from having a historical based mind and sheesh, to deal with tourists all day...), University wasn't for him. I however did enjoy Tomosai's characterisation immensely (and this makes up for any other flaws to me), and like you said all the connection with the other heroes. The one where supes turns up is my favourite.
