Even still, whenever conservatives say "communist" in place of Leftist, Socialist etc. I'm quick to correct them, especially if they're claiming to be a professional politician. If you're a politician, know the proper definition of the different political theories (because I haven't seen a true Communist espousing a Communist agenda since first year of college; and that person didn't have a hope of running for anything in a state that outlawed self-declared Communists and Nazis).

Every time I hear a character state their IQ, I want to bash the writer over the head with a psychology textbook.
* Especially what you have to do to take one. These aren't just little pen-and-paper multiple choice tests we're talking about. It's basically a four-day process where a psychologist test everything from your average digit span to how fast you can complete the towers of hanoi. You want to know how much the WAIS-IV costs? Over a thousand fucking dollars. You use them to diagnose cognitive disorders, not to get a shiny number to brag to your friends about like this twerp here.

That 'built to handle things' line is just plain weird, for example. It's clearly meant to be a 'I'm capable' sentiment, but it doesn't sound something like a real person would say...at least not in this context.
I do find the boob window in the context of Karen's evening dress to be amusing.
