Because of the rumors that he's Daredevil, Matt Murdock's been finding it impossible to be a successful lawyer in the courtroom. What's a man (without fear) to do?

After realizing that what his latest client, Mr. Jobrani, needs is a lawyer who isn't popularly suspected of being a masked vigilante, Matt tries to refer him to other attorneys. However, that's made difficult by the revelation that Jobrani's been hearing voices, making him an unreliable witness. Yeah, those voices were really the work of Klaw, Master of Sound, but try explaining that to people.

Okay, that is a very clever way of him to still have business in law with the whole Daredevil thing.

And yes, Matt trying not to admit he's Daredevil because of two hot chicks draped over him and "FOGGY'S HEART BURSTS" were hysterical. :D

Nice to see Mark Waid's still got his sense of humor.

Oh this is just the bees knees. That was brilliant, all four pages. I want this book so bad addicts are giving me shifty eyes.

Not sure I see it as clever to be honest, since it requires defendants who can articulate and be cross examined whilst defending themselves in a high pressure court room. Even WITH tutoring.

Hey, Matt has the same disease as Professor Crane from that one elseworlds, the one where his shadow displays his super heroic identity.

Isn't this the same premise as that David Tennant pilot, Rex Is Not Your Lawyer?

Did Waid actually come up with a character's name by switching two vowels in "jabroni"?

Hahaha, this is pretty hilarious. I'm really glad that Waid's having fun with this book, and honestly, both Matt and Foggy deserve fun stories like this.

It's not the kind of Daredevil book I want (sorry, but I just really like the *needs-a-stiff-drink-after-every-issue* DD), so I won't be getting it, but hey, good to see it's working out just fine.

Did Matt at any time tell his client to shut his mouth and/or know his role?

I keep wanting to like this, but then there are stumbling blocks.

If Matt Murdock's identity as Daredevil is no longer secret, what's gonna stop the next Kingpin or even Kingpin himself from RUING HIS LIFE TERRIBLY?

If you're gonna go through the trouble of having "Court Room Drama" SHOW THE DAMN COURT ROOM DRAMA. Don't just narrate through it. Many cases of law take weeks, even months of prep work before the trial even begins! Moves, countermoves, motions filed, countermotions filed, suppressing evidence and presenting it . . . the law can make for fascinating stuff, as MANY LAW SHOWS HAVE SHOWN . . .

Oh, well. At least it avoids the many, many instances of portraying the law inaccurately.

Enh. It's overdone. And arguably inaccurate to Matt's personality. He's as much a wiseacre as Peter Parker, but when you keep getting thrown into such bleak stories, it doesn't get much chance to show that side of him off.

Ummm, no. Jobrani (as even a very quick google showed me) is a perfectly legitimate Middle Eastern Name. Like comedian Maz Jobrani

It's still a good idea, seeing as with the climate right now, there's no way Matt's going to be let in the courtroom and taken seriously anymore.

I am literally squeeing, as opposed to metaphorically squeeing.

Because really, it's just overwhelmingly adorable, this plot. I cannot let a single issue of this pass without my knowledge, ever ever.

I'm with Foggy, that is a horrible idea :D

(Though admittedly, it'll probably make a good comic. Still, legally, Foggy is so right!)

Aww . . . Demon Knights was awesome.

And because it doesn't seem to fit in with what most comic book readers are interested it, it's probably not gonna last 8 issues.
