I totally thought this was going to cringe-inducing (in a grimace-y, 'ouch' kind of way) or dark or something. But I felt really happy and relieved reading those scans. My broke is brain from it, me thinks.

Millar does understand supeheroes. His short run on Adventures of Superman proves that. But having this exist in the same world as the first Kick-Ass doesn't make me want to read this.
