Date: 2011-09-27 12:11 am (UTC)I think Madoka in the end is the "magical girl show for those who are scared to watch magical girl shows". Because if you think they're all just cute fluff, pretty transformations and pretty but ineffective attacks, then you really haven't watched magical girl (to say what is or isn't original) and I guess Madoka is safe in that way. x'D
For me though, I kinda have to turn my brain off when watching it. But I wonder how many people were just enamored with it or nitpicked as much as me and my friend did.
