Is Logan being a bad swimming an existing canonical quirk?

I know it's one of the potential drawbacks people come up with regarding his adamantium skeleton, but I don't know if it's been addressed yet.

Wolverine saved Hope after Crimson Commando kidnapped her. He said that he hasn't tried to get close to her because he knows that if she ever goes Dark Phoenix it's going to fall on him to kill her.

Not really. If you grew up with an amazing dad or brothers (or etc) it can make you really damn picky about men. You *know* how awesome they can be, so you're not willing to settle for less.

I was pretty similar to Kitty Pride there until I finally met the fellow who is now my husband, and he *did* measure up. And I'm certainly glad I kept looking for the best. :)
