A part of me would like for Krypto to not be a dog in this continuity but another kind of Super-animal.

You could just post one page from the preview and link to it? It's less a rule but mostly just being courteous since anyone can read the preview online once linked to it. But posting all of it makes it harder for other to post from the issue. (Plus you posted 5 pages in your post which was a page more than you could for a new book anyway)

Given Clark's at golden age power levels in Action I think it's sorta like how Clark in Smallville early on wasn't bulletproof, just resistant. Weapons hurt him IE bruised him but didn't really provide a massive threat to him. And yeah, I'm pretty sure that's Clark trying to cover up being Superman by saying some thugs beat him up.

Here's my problem with that.

You have one member upload one scan with a link to where you can find three more scans. You have another member upload 3 scans.

You've just provided the community with close to half of the new comic. See where I'm going with this?

The system isn't perfect by any means but I'm guessing that's similarly why the community's changed from posting half the comic down to a third of a story for this reason (at least on prior versions of the comm that was the rule).

Doubt it, though it makes for a fun notion. By the time he's adult Superman he heals pretty damn instantaneously. I mean he healed a hole in his hand when Superboy-Prime heat visioned through it in Legion of Three Worlds.

And Supergirl healed from having a huge puncture in her chest (albeit because she was on Rann where their were three suns to power her)

I'm just glad that this was a light week in comics for me. With Fear Itself nearly over, I just spent about $20 this week.

Not to mention the rules state "No more than 4 scans of a recent comic should be posted by any one user on this community. This prevents any one member from getting to control the discussion on popular comics. Once a comic is no longer classed as being “recent” single posters can post a full 7 pages from it.

I posted 4 scans in the other thread (now 3). The story is 20 pages, 1/3 of which is 6.6 (rounded up) is 7.

Well, yeah. That's why the rule are being followed now since you among other things had a two page one in your prior post, bumping your count up to 5 pages. And I should point out page counts are never rounded up. It's specifically 1/3 of the story or 6 and 2/3 pages for the 20 page comic (barring other story sizes of course).

Thus we're at 6 pages now and a person if they really wanted to could post 2/3 of a page.

I should point out you're not a mod. Whether it actually be true or not, nowhere in the rules does it say anything about rounding. You're interpreting this when this isn't your job.

I come to scans daily to post, read and comment on comics, not to defend what I posted to every member that decides its up to them to save the day against a "malevolent" break of ethos. It happens far too often on this site where members feel that they have to take it upon themselves to do a mods job.

You see some rule-breaking? Notify a mod. Don't stretch it out in two different posts when it isn't your duty.

Pro-tip: The fact that rounding isn't mentioned means that we don't do it. Ever.

And the experienced people will mention rule-breaking because we like this community, know the mods aren't on all of the time, and want problems to be fixed quickly so that they don't cause us problems.

In the issue, he got that way after fighting a wrecking ball and a tank. Since this is a reallllly depowered Superman (he can't even fly), getting slammed by a wrecking ball busted him up pretty badly.

I disliked Morrison's comments about Ma and Pa being dead and him being free of them. How he was the strongest guy around and it was time for him to clean up. Sounds like they failed as parents then.
