Date: 2011-10-08 01:20 am (UTC)(Now, since it took a page and change for one of them to mention that they were watching a recording of what happened to Alpha, not a live feed, the fact that for the duration of that page I thought she and Ollie were calmly watching a man (even a wannabe thrill-seeking villain) get beaten to death without lifting a finger to stop it - THAT took me out of it briefly.)

Date: 2011-10-08 05:02 pm (UTC)I think it's partially because in the DC I can't see video games exposing kids to any MORE violence than they see on the news/down the street/next town over. Or that video games would screw with their sense of reality any more than the revolving door of death that superheroes go with.
