While I still find that whole caveman metaphor thingy to be one of the most painfully stupid thing I've ever seen - that was a nice issue finally seeing everyone try to decide what to chose.

Much as I do not like those two together, I thought that was a pretty cute sequence. :)



Well, I dunno, but anything with the X-kids has my attention! Speaking of which:



(There was also a nice sequence between Laurie & Hope, dealing with the aftermath of Schism, but it's a bit too long for me to post).

Sadly, I've still to see anything like a coherent argument for Logan's POV. Hellion lost his hands, but wouldn't be be DEAD if the X-Men hadn't been around?

I don't think Logan has a coherent argument. I think it's just that a lot of people are fed up with Cyclops' more militarist way of handling Utopia. It's as much an appeal to nostalgia as anything else - and probably war weariness (which does not help when you're the people getting attacked all the time, indeed).

With the fight he lost them in specifically, more than likely the adult X-men would've managed to win anyway (there were still a good number of other fighters on the field at the time), just with a bit more damage.

I'm sure he'll agree having X-men on the front line and seeking out trouble is necessary, just that he don't want to be on that line.

The art is seriously awful. I hate everyone trying to mimic Coipel. They can't, and it just makes their effort look that much worse.

I think only one Paragon died on the bus. Wolfcub, Trance, Match and Pixie all kept their powers, so only DJ was on the bus and I think I read somewhere that Preview survived (which was weird because her sister Network didn't). Of course Wolfcub died later.

Yeah Rachel, Havok and Polaris all choose their sides in this.

So many great X-Kids that are simply NOT getting put on team in major books like they deserve. Armor is the only one who was put on a heavy-hitting X-Team. Instead Quentin gets on one and we get a new crop of x-kids for Hope.

Nice to See Prodigy getting a few lines. Considering the Cuckoos gave him back all that he ever absorbed and has the knowledge of practically EVERY X-Man you think he would be a critical part of the group. Ah well, writers have their favorites.

Still, Xavier isn't on a team and none of the X-Kids. *sigh*

Actually Xavier was suspiciously absent of this issues. When's the last we saw him? In Legacy when he was staying to help Legion? I wonder what has happened to them since.

Loved the Magneto/Rogue scene. I have to say that I'm impressed at how all the writers have handled them in such a mature fashion, something exceedingly rare among X-romances.

I read this in the LCS today and I kept laughing/wincing at the caveman thing too.

Team Scott certainly wins points for flashiness. I mean, damn, Colossus, Magneto, Namor, Storm, Emma, it's like Team Supermodel (and also an old guy who's pretty buff so i guess that's fine?)

A lot of this book was just bad.

The bad points:

-The caveman metaphor was stupid.
-Is Psylocke a triple agent, now??? Who knows?
- Iceman's rationale for going with Wolverine was weak.
- Wolverine suddenly has some control over X-Factor (re Havok and Polaris) just because he's not with Cyclops anymore.

About the only things I did like were:

-Beast's reaction/immediate realization that he'd be running the school and Logan would just have "a bigger office".
-Cyclops' appeal to get Storm to stay even though she wanted to side with Logan.
- Emma making Scott sweat and reminding him not to take her for granted.

But ultimately it is shaking things up (they've been a little stale for awhile now) and hopefully the new books will be interesting.

It's not impossible he asked Maddox about it before talking to Havok & Polaris; and we were just not shown it.
