While I still find that whole caveman metaphor thingy to be one of the most painfully stupid thing I've ever seen - that was a nice issue finally seeing everyone try to decide what to chose.

Sadly, I've still to see anything like a coherent argument for Logan's POV. Hellion lost his hands, but wouldn't be be DEAD if the X-Men hadn't been around?

The art is seriously awful. I hate everyone trying to mimic Coipel. They can't, and it just makes their effort look that much worse.

I don't think Logan has a coherent argument. I think it's just that a lot of people are fed up with Cyclops' more militarist way of handling Utopia. It's as much an appeal to nostalgia as anything else - and probably war weariness (which does not help when you're the people getting attacked all the time, indeed).

With the fight he lost them in specifically, more than likely the adult X-men would've managed to win anyway (there were still a good number of other fighters on the field at the time), just with a bit more damage.

I'm sure he'll agree having X-men on the front line and seeking out trouble is necessary, just that he don't want to be on that line.

Yeah, that's a fair enough position, but the main issue is that there's nothing to stop the school being attacked too, just with half the manpower to protect it (and lacking Scott's strategic smarts, and Magneto's powers, just to mention two things)

Yeah, I don't think he needs propose a convincing argument. Scot is the pragmatic and realistic one, but Logan's basically just "I want to let kids be kids and educate them regardless of what we know is out there, because that's more important than fighting."

That's why Aaron and Gillen said that the dynamic will not be two opposing teams, but rather one where Scott's side is going to patronize Logan's side in a "Yeah, go ahead and play school; us big boys over here will always come to protect you, you naive kids" way.

So many great X-Kids that are simply NOT getting put on team in major books like they deserve. Armor is the only one who was put on a heavy-hitting X-Team. Instead Quentin gets on one and we get a new crop of x-kids for Hope.

Nice to See Prodigy getting a few lines. Considering the Cuckoos gave him back all that he ever absorbed and has the knowledge of practically EVERY X-Man you think he would be a critical part of the group. Ah well, writers have their favorites.

Still, Xavier isn't on a team and none of the X-Kids. *sigh*

Actually Xavier was suspiciously absent of this issues. When's the last we saw him? In Legacy when he was staying to help Legion? I wonder what has happened to them since.

I think only one Paragon died on the bus. Wolfcub, Trance, Match and Pixie all kept their powers, so only DJ was on the bus and I think I read somewhere that Preview survived (which was weird because her sister Network didn't). Of course Wolfcub died later.

Yeah Rachel, Havok and Polaris all choose their sides in this.

what makes me sad is that Magneto and Polaris FINALLY have the time to discuss the Family thing, we get a promis that they will talk when you know, not fighting for thier lives on an ALien planet. but i doubt we will ever see that....

I think that Magneto staying on Utopia and calling it 'his life's work' is probably all the argument Logan needs against Scott. The man's meandered back and forth across the good/evil line that many times it's a joke, and that the guy is willing to kneel before Scott and commend him says it all. Scott might be the general, but he's leaning closer and closer to warlord, these days.

Logan's approach might be 'back to basics', but I'd wager it's something that a few of the X-Men need right now. Personally, I'm just disappointed Ali's sticking with Scott.
