Xander + Dawn

So he dates Cordelia, then sleeps with Willow, then he almost marries Anya
then he dates Dawn? Hmm... Cordelia becomes one of the Powers That Be, Willow becomes a dark "witch?" "crazy black eyed magik user?" and eventually an earth goddess type, and Dawn used to be The Key. Yeah, keep in mind the Praying Mantis substitute teacher and the Inca mummy princess/priestess.

P.S: I'm not counting the love spell, that wasn't dating that was fury that hell hath not.

Xander as "parahuman babe magnet" was pretty much in canon. Which is nothing else goes to show that parahuman babes have good taste, as he was definitely the one I'd have picked out of the male cast.

Hmmm, you raise a valid point, though werewolfishness might be something of a drawback. Oz was certainly cool, but was SO laid back it would probably irk me at times (Probably moreso that Xander's neurose and neediness).

Of course, if BOTH were available! :)

Personally I wouldn't have gone for early seasons Xander, but in the later ones, he really became awesome.

I always admired Xander for being the one who wanted to help stop the monster despite not being a Slayer, a superstrong vampire, a genius hacker/superwitch, a werewolf or having access to the knowledge of the Watchers.
