I love it when the people who create comics remember that they should be fun. :) A lot of days dark and moody suits me fine, but I can always use a chuckle.

Why "should" comics be fun?

Comics are a medium, not a genre.

Television doesn't have to be fun, nor does film. Why "should" comics be fun? Is it because they're "for kids"?

Yeah, I don't think he meant it that way. I thin kit was more in the sense that a lot of writers have forgotten how fun they can be, and how everything is all gritty and grimdark now.
