I'm not entirely sure what happened... i am guessing that, either way, if Thor Fought he was going to die. But what Loki did was give Thor a chance to take the Serpent with him?
just saw the Thor Movie today, and damnit if i didn't love Loki too, i felt so bad for him... i felt like all he needed was a hug!

I was so impressed with Thor, I've held it above even Cap's movie, and will likely crown it movie of the year (all the arthouse stuff can suck it for how much win was in Thor).
