i really hope she ends up showing up later. i mean its a SCHOOL! and its on the west coast!...

Side bar... i was wondering... Anya tood the anitdote for the spider-power thing.... but the way it ened... it made it feel like she still had her spider-powers... that "THWIP at the end, was a web Thwip... not just a line... and the webline that came out looked... webby... as does the one above.... does she still have the organic webs? i dont remember her using web shooters....

Well considering that Anya didn't turn into a giant Spider monster and that Arachne and the Wasp Queen referred to her as a "true Spider", I don't think she got her powers from the Spider-Island incident.

Now where those powers came from... well I have no idea.

She took the antidote because it was mandatory, but taking the antidote she can keep her secret identity. It just didn't take her powers away.

	Also, Rictor and Boom Boom were about the same age as/younger than the New Mutants. And Cannonball is supposedly 21. (Goddamned sliding timescale) So Taki would still probably be young enough to go to high school. That aside, y'know who might have been a great fit for this new Academy (depending on your definition of superhuman, maybe, but still appropriate for an Avengers group), and who was the first person I thought of when I saw these pages? The focus is still going to be on the first class (plus a few additions like X-23, the new White Tiger and Julie Power). The new students are just going to be guest appearances/back ground characters who won't get to do anything important.

But yeah, if you're a fan of the Loners or Sentinel or Arana, you probably shouldn't buy this book just for them. I don't see anything significant happening to them in this book.
