I guess I should shut up because it's comic books but you'd always have to have a fast brain if you were the Flashbecause it would have to keep up with your movements in the first place. Otherwise you'd constantly crash into stuff. And just HOW fast is he? O_o If he was faster than sound then he'd always cause a loud BANG when moving at that speed...

I'm guessing he's probably faster than sound but I'm sure the Speed Force absorbs the sonic boom if he doesn't need it. Timey wimey Speed Force.

I think the notion is that he does have a fast brain, but it's not operating on a par with his physical potential.
