I don't think you get to complain about how, if you sidekicked to the Flash, you'd just be "NotFlash" or "MiniFlash" when the name you actually chose is KIDFLASH.

I mean, if you went with Impulse, great, that line works. Otherwise, it just sounds stupid.

(And "Who Sidekicks anymore?" Superheroes have only been around 5 years, I'm not sure thats enough time for sidekicking to have come in and out of fashion)

I thought of that, but I still don't think it quite works, because you'd have to have had enough kid sidekicks for it to become a fad in the first place.

Have there even been any in the new DCU, aside from Robin?

We ARE on Robin #4 in the list (at least)
At least one Batgirl (not a sidekick per se, but would be viewed as such)
We don't know who was in Dick's Titans team (whoever they were)
