Got me, Robo. It doesn't seem to be doing us any good.

Answer: Of course it is :)

Heh, this just arrived with me this past weekend as my first Atomic Robo TPB (but not my last!). Loved the Sentai-type team.

Though I confess that complaints about the square cube law in such cases just annoy me. We're already talking about a life form growing way beyond anything that normal evolution or nature would permit, I have absolutely no issues with the concept of it simultaneously developing a much more efficient oxygen processing system, and a more sturdy, yet lighter skeletal (or exo-skeletal) frame.

"Why do we even have the square/cube law?"
So when stuff like this happens, we can mock it relentlessly.
Because that's how SCIENCE rolls.

Rhetorical questions still necessitate a question mark at the end of a sentence, Robo.

(I give an exception for a Flat What, but that's it.)

Ah, but in DIALOG, the lack of a question mark may indicate that the question was phrased as a Flat-What-toned statement. It's along the lines of typing in dialect, so I forgive it.

Yeah the choice of grammar clearly contributes to the author's indication of the tone in which that statement should be heard.
