A refrence to his old school adventures! SB's invunerablity comes from his TTK powers, as long as he is aware of what coming towards him, his body "prepares" for it and act on reflex, doesn't work too well with heat and fire (though he can make an air pocket for himself) but I going to say that's the suit doing that for him... which begs the question why they made it fingerless in design....

It's not so alternative. EW has covered comics on and off almost since it began, and DC has gotten play by TIME a number of times.

Which isn't surprising, as, like DC itself, both magazines are Time/Warner properties.
