I really want to hate how she looks here.

It seems like the hate for the costume has kinda died down. I think it's kinda similar to when we first saw her nurse suit in Arkham Asylum--people complained about the amount of skin there, too. I don't know if this version of the suit is going to be as popular afterwards.

It just doesn't set off the squick vibe that Starfire in RED HOOD 1 did. (or the last page of CATWOMAN 1, which is so disturbingly stiff) And I can't judge, I've drawn the Daisy Dukes type--it's not an unsexy look.

And frankly I can't see this as being that far out of character--and really, do you expect a woman on the rebound from the Joker to be that restrained? ;)

I'm not really a fan of this book, but not out of any offense, it's just not my thing. But I don't see much to object to here. So she's aggressive sexually? I don't see a problem. In fact, in the main the fact that DC is now treating sex as a fact of life, in principle I find a good thing, even if some of how they've been going about it squicks me.

I agree with you on the book--I'm not especially interested in it, but it's no where NEAR as bad as I feared it was going to be.

However, looking more closelier, those aren't cutoffs, they're panties with a jeans pattern. The artist doesn't quite know how to depict the weight of clothes on a body; denim has substance and amplifies what's underneath, that's why it can be sexy.

Compare how a Frank Quitely would have drawn the same outfit on the same build.

well then she's wearing two layers of panties. Take a look at the scene were Deadshot is talking into his microphone on his helmet.

No, I mean the cutoffs are drawn as THOUGH they were panties(OVER her panties), meaning they have no real thickness to them.

Quitely is maybe too far on the other end though; everything becomes wrinkly and puffy. Half of the time people in his New X-Men books had Corky faces.
