Date: 2009-03-05 12:55 am (UTC)I'm just apprehensive of them casting a bunch of Highschool Musical teeny-boppers in an over-budgeted action movie. BKV working on the movie isn't as comforting now that we've had more news of the Avatar movie (which also has it's creators working on the film.)

Date: 2009-03-05 06:26 am (UTC)Runaways never lost quality under BKV, but it did lose tightness and direction.
Your millage may vary.
Date: 2009-03-05 03:16 pm (UTC)I've also heard some other people say that Runaways didn't get really good until after the first volume.
Personally, I liked them all equally.
