What I noticed is that both Huntress and Catwoman have the exact same facial expression on these covers. I wonder if it's because Guillem March drew them? :P

Also is it just me or do Bat and Cat look like they're hanging off of a cocoon in the Catwoman cover? o.O

Are we talking Bat and Cat? Or Hunts and Cat? Cause if it's the former, I can totally see GaGa emerging out of a cocoon at a concert. :P

Sadly I lost track of everything GaGa ever since I got back to my love of metal rock music. Otherwise, I wouldn't have missed this one. X_X

The funny thing is, this is a VAST improvement in comparison with what he did in Gotham City Sirens, IMO.

There does seem to be some weird coloring choices after the fact. Both #1 and #2 covers were drawn to have backgrounds that look realistic for their settings, but were changed by release to be more of a pink/blueish tint.

Rotate the image 180 degrees and look at the anatomy. It's bad for Batman and WAY WORSE for Selina.

As I wrote on my blog http://kennowen.blogspot.com/2011/11/what-about-bette.html the Batwoman solicit has a glaring omission.
Love the Batgirl cover, though the Nightwing is my least favorite of this run so far.

Or maybe whatever's going on doesn't directly involve her. The way the series is moving, I kinda doubt she'll end up dead. If anything, Bette will probably save Kate's ass and she's going to have to have a big helping of humble pie over it.

It's gonna be hilarious when Bane dies from blood poisoning or an air embolism or something. I mean, the man is basically going into battle with half a dozen giant IV tubes jacked into his bloodstream. Batman should just fling crap at him, run away and wait for the sepsis to set in.

I always laughed at artists going overboard with the tubes. It's like, the idea of a stimulant/mutagen going straight into his brain cavity is one thing I can kinda buy in comics (though it makes more sense if it went into both his arms and legs, along with a chest port), but having something the size of a garden hose stuck in your head is NOT a good idea (unless you're some kind of posthuman cyborg).

Nah, that's just the lighting/highlights. Note that the mask or the neck was never colored red. This is the artist using the blue to show that there's light reflecting on the costume.

That's... REALLY OBVIOUSLY BLUE, though. There is no red in it, except in what appears to be a reflection from the sky. You could hardly get bluer if you tried.

If that is supposed to be lighting, I would say it was a vastly greater fail than forgetting it's red now.
