This was the most satisfying read out of all three books.

I'm enjoying this run.

Props for Supergirl not ever doing the voice over boxes. Sorry, but I couldn't resist.

Seems dull and uninspired; it's needlessly grim and colorless. I expected more from a Supergirl series: wonder, awe, big ideas...

This part seems really claustrophobic compared to the first couple of issues. And I can't say I'm fond of yet another villain pulling the old Lex Luthor trick. Get her out in space, doing big & wild stuff, that's where the fun is.

There's no 'fun' in the DCnU! You're absolutely right there. I think that's a company directive, that there has to be a threat introduced immediately into each book (preferably with a single word name, apparently).

I like the art. The composition is nice (though layouts are a little confusing)
Supergirl looks like a great book. I'm happy DC does at least 2 things right with its female characters

the last two villains DC have created for Supergirl(including pre-boot) have been total asshats!

And seriously this guy is a "trillionaire" and the governments of the world has outsourced all space development to private individuals?

One, I thought they were going for realism and despite the lack of manned flight space programs aren't going away.

Two, they're doing this when aliens ARE FINALLY SHOWING UP. I'm calling bullshit.

Kara gets to experienced kryptonite before her cousin.

Her new ability is interesting. :)

Huh? We're still not up to 'now' in Action Comics, so we don't know what Clark's experienced or not, do we?
But ITA about the 'new' ability. Seems a combo of TTK/Heat Vision, so at least it's not coming out of left field.

I like this less than the first two issues. Would it have been out of the question for her to get, say, a tiny bit of orientation, a sense of where she is before we go to the life-threatening, evil villain kidnapping schtick? Or maybe let her get some information from her ship before it starts killing her? Well, apparently it would.

I like the art. Overall, I really like the look of this Supergirl. I haven't been wild about the costume, but it's growing on me a little. I still don't like the red pubic triangle thing. And with the high color, the long sleeves, the high boots, the cape flowing around her -- the bare legs look odd to me, like she forgot to finish getting dressed.

Wow, that was kind of a lot of complaints. I really do like this book, but can't seem to articulate why, exactly.

I'm starting to have a problem with this costume... I dunno why...
The bathsuit worked for PeeGee, but not really on such a young Supergirl, IMO..
