scans_daily It's Batgirl 45, and Cass, after musing about what exactly a soul is, has decided to give Barbara's costume out for a spin.
They promptly get their faces punched into custard.
Later, RetroCass bumps into Tim, and thus begins the shift from him thinking that she's a terrifying Ring Wraith-ish addition to the Bat Family, and begins the road to their mutual friendship/relationship that emerged in Red Robin and Gates of Gotham.
This shift is begun by the fact that he realises that she's hot. Which is weird, because he knows loads of attractive women who are incredibly terrifying, like Cass' mum for example.
Cass heads back to the Watchtower, and returns the costume, apologising for the holes. Barbara says that it's fine, though she wished she could have seen Cass in action in it, as she bets that Cass "knocked them dead". She offers to let Cass permanently keep the outfit, but Cass declines, and Barbara answers the question Cass was pondering abour before she left to fight crime/fall over in impractical shoes,
