Tiny Titans #46 Preview: Look Who's Back!

Speaking of the mysterious hooded lady, from DC Source:

A few weeks ago, Editor-in-Chief Bob Harras’ All Access post teased at the future of the mysterious hooded figure who appeared at the end of FLASHPOINT and in all the premiere issues of DC COMICS-THE NEW 52.

Well, looks like Bob wasn’t kidding when he said that this enigmatic woman would be appearing across all aspects of the DC Universe.

In Wednesday’s TINY TITANS #46, you’ll notice a familiar purple cloak making various appearances throughout the issue. Leave it to the always-inquisitive Robin to be the first member of the gang to ask the question that’s been on all of our minds since those climactic pages of FLASHPOINT #5: “Who’s the lady in purple?”

Heh. I just now realised I stopped noticing the mysterious hooded lady after all the New 52 #1's. Colour me intrigued, I'm almost tempted to pick this up.

Yeah, she hasn't shown up in the books after the #1's as near as I know. Though the woman in the 52 is red hooded, not purple. Makes her look more like Spoiler here.

But. But. Tomorrow is the Protector issue of Tiny Titans! PROTECTOR. BUY COPIES. *flail*

She did have a purple aura that some artists blended into her outfit, so the creators of this issue may have been referencing that.

I really want her appearences to become incredibly blatant to mock the whole thing, like sitting at an open-air restaurant eating a sandwich, or driving around in a purple scooter, or on the center pole of a strip club.

This means Tiny Titans is in continuity with the New 52? XD

Better yet... the worlds will collide, and the entire DC lineup will become similar to Tiny Titans in tone!

This Tiny Titans issue itself, despite the mysterious lady, is a story that Robin gets called away for business by Batman and Protector is elected as his stand-in. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

You know what she makes me think of?

She makes me think that they weren't sure how successful the reboot would be so they needed to invent someone to reset things back to the status quo if everything bombed.
