Huntress #3

So do you remember Helena's team-up with Catwoman in the post-Crisis continuity, where Selina basically left the security dogs to chase after Helena so she could focus on bypassing a complex security system? Well, I think Helena finally found a solution to that problem in Huntress #3!

And damn, there were so many good scenes in this issue, 4 pages doesn't even begin to do it justice. On the bright side though, I think Levitz finally dropped our first "official hint" on Helena in this issue. I promise it's a very *subtle* one. I think. Maybe.

Anyway, moving on...

Helena still doesn't like giving out her name. Then again, I wouldn't either in my working clothes...especially not to a guy who calls himself "The Lion of Kufra."



Eep! Can't wait for #4. Especially #4. ;)

Now to wait on Birds of Prey later this month. :}

can someone explain to me how bending over to pick up a rock and standing back up (or maybe he threw from the ground) to throw it can beat Helen who already had her crossbow drawn?

He has limited range super speed, which allows him to perform limited range of motion actions in the blink of an eye. He can't run really fast or anything, for short term speed, he's your guy.

Don't know, don't care. I love it when random people on the streets turn out to be badasses.

Imagine how much more interesting action movies would be if one of the hundreds of generic police car drivers chasing after the hero turned out to be an amateur stunt racer. You would have your usual cliche police car pile up, expect for this one no name cop who just pops a wheelie, uses the other cop cars as a ramp, and continues the pursuit.
