I'm not sure where this is going now, but I'm willing to see this through to the end.






I love how great comic moments play music in my head like this.

In my mind I hear "Bishop's Countdown" when reading this.

I think so. There's also the Maestro Hulk, the Next Avengers and what looks like DOFP Wolverine. So that page might just be alternate futures.

Then again the Maestro Hulk and Next Avengers were featured in that future timeline in the recent Avengers book...

Well, they're travelling forward through time from a point pre-Fantastic Four #1, and the preceding page is all 616-verse (in fact, with the moving sphere tying it together it looks like this is the halves of a double-page spread) so in theory it should be all points along a single timeline. So I'm wondering if that's actually current day Valeria Richards, adopting the Doom armour as a grown-up. Although the hairstyle surely has to be an intentional link to Valeria Von Doom, which is definitely interesting. (I've long held the theory that Valeria Richards must retain the previous Val's memories, whether she's conscious of it or not, since that would explain so much about both her advanced knowledge and maturity and her great fondness for Doom.)

Yeah, that literally reads like an exact rip of the exact same idea. A ship that requires a super-powered crew to run it, each of them filling a different role.

I don't know; which one shows that? I see one about people standing inside a futuristic contraption doing bugger all; and I see another one about a hippie looking intensely at me while panels with strange floor patterns scintilate. And Blue Superman is in there too.

It's a disjointed collection of beautil nothings. I'm sure reading the whole issue helps, but these two pages have done a poor job of piquing my curiosity.
