This is partly why I have a nervous sense of dread over Adventure Comics - the 'net is going to be howling with fanboy rage the instant that Cassie makes an appearance, no matter what she does. If she hooks up with him, it'll be back to the cheerful days of Superboy and his amazing girlfriend, if not then she'll just seem like a psychopath for all of her paranoid obsessing while he was dead.

I have to admit, when I first saw the blurb for that video, I thought, "Hmm. Dark Age + WARRIOR = Guy Gardner?" But aside from the horrid, horrid '90s art, Guy's comic was actually pretty fun in how it embraced the whole "Big muscles! Big guns!" mentality and milked it for all it was worth. (And that "Gal Gardner" issue? Classic.) Plus it gave us Lady Blackhawk.

But this? This was horribly, disgustingly, brain-breakingly, deliciously HORRENDOUS, HOAK HOGAN!

I love Linkara and Spoony. Actually, Linkara's been on my podcast (http://community.livejournal.com/made_of_fail_pc) twice. Once on Episode 12 for comic ranting, and we just recorded the second one (Episode 17), which should be up sometime in the next few days after we're done in post.

I've been exposed to WARRIAH before, as it's a classic induction on www.wrestlecrap.com (In fact, I should send this link to them sometime), so the Liefeldian musculature, insane ramblings, walls of text, and even Santa bondage/rape didn't phase me. But what shocked me was the origin of the word "Destrucity": chopping up three normal words and jamming them together. Dammit Hellwig, you always spouted gibberish, but I always thought that at least it was ORIGINAL gibberish.

In any case, Spoony and Linkara put together a brillaint video for something that isn't even worth lining a birdcage with. Hope they do more crossovers for other epic occasions.
