Three Preview Pages from Redhood and the Outlaws #4

You know... this is fast becoming one of my favorite books. the issues number one had aside (and actually one of the moments in issue 1 does actually seem to have reprocussions in this issue, still don't like that scene however). I have actually really been enjoying this book. this issue seems to focus on Starfire.

Rocafort's art is getting better too. at least where starfire is concerned she looks fierce!... still don't know how the hell that stays on though...

	I love that Crux's talking about his humanity while he's green, just flew over with his big ol' leathery wings, and has lizardlike skin. You'd think he'd've bought a suit of power armor, like all the other genetic baselines with hateboners, if he cared about his point so much. (Reply to this)

	This makes me wonder what the temperature is like on Tamaran if Kori is able to fight in below zero weather in a bikini and not succumb to hypothermia. 	I mean, as I recall Tamaran's pretty tropical. But then, Tamaraneans are solar-powered humanoid sphynxes with what may or may not be compound eyes and jet hair, so, I don't know, I guess we'll just pretend that her amnesia has also included comfy sweaters. 	In early NTT Kory commented that Tamaran was further from it's sun than the Earth and she enjoyed the increased heat of Earth, but this was later retconned to conform with Taraman being a tropical paradise rather warmer than the Northern USA. (Reply to this) (Thread from start) (Parent)

	I love this book, totally. It's probably my second favorite out of the various hero books I'm reading right now. I'm not super into what they've been doing with Roy so far, but I love Kory and Jason. (Reply to this)

	"thinking about how hot she is" Where do you see that? The closest thing I can think of is her saying that if she was on the ground she would get a lot of attention from humans, but I think it's more likely that it had to do with her having orange skin and her hair occasionally turning into fire. 	I really, REALLY like the colorist for this book - I like a lot of the art too but I think I wouldn't like it nearly as much if not for the coloring. And yay for finally getting to have Starfire speak more than like 3 lines :/ (Reply to this)

	I will say this. My DCUO/tabletop RPG Tamaranean girl wears something that's Starfire-esque, but rather more complete... though she keeps the top unzipped to the navel. Her answer when I asked how the "girls" stay tucked away is "lots and lots of double-sided tape." (Reply to this)

	Aggh... 	What's weird to me is that her top and thong don't seem to have any substance - it's like they're painted on to her.
