Date: 2011-12-22 11:18 pm (UTC)Anyway, after that, the very next issue, Jamie and his family are on some kind of a roadtrip, and Vigilante is with them, like they know and trust him. There was this giant hole missing where he went from mysterious stranger to trusted ally. That alone honestly turned me off from the series.

Issue seven written by Rogers, has the Reyes family, Brenda and Paco checking out a crater that was apparently made when Jaime crashed there. Peacemaker shows up several pages in, having snuck up on a motorcycle to Paco's shock, and is actually heavily questioned by Alberto Reyes with such things as "What do you want with my family?" Peacemakes says it has nothing to do with the Reyes family, just the hunk of alien melded welded Jaime's spine. Jaime's opinion of Peacemaker is simply "He's slightly less crazy than everybody else trying to "help" me. Or less evil. Probably not both."
