Date: 2011-12-23 07:00 am (UTC)I mean, Supes or Wonder Woman or Flash could cut all those bad guys in half in less time, if they felt like it, and a competent Green Lantern could make a bunch of giant shark constructs. Flying shark constructs that shoot lasers, even.

Commanding the resources of a magical, high-tech, globe-spanning empire actually is something no other Leaguer can do; Wonder Woman's royalty, but she's rarely treated as having serious political power, even among the Amazons.
Since this League is missing J'onn, it would also make sense to play up the fact that Aquaman's telepathy can affect non-sea life as well. But "Watch me control this giant sea monster!!! And then stab somebody with my sharp trident!!!" is never going to be very impressive when Superman's blowing up mountains on the next page.
