Remember back when it was originally announced that a Buffy reboot was green-lit without any involvement from franchise creator, Joss Whedon? Then do you remember the part about hell breaking loose, not just from fans but even Buffy cast themselves?
Well peeps, I think our wishes have all been answered.

For legality, how about some Buffy/Satsu?

Hey now. Willow can't have ALL the fun, right?
Well peeps, I think our wishes have all been answered.
Buffy reboot writer fired- what is in the future for Buffy movie?
This will bring good news to some of the Buffy fans that are adamant that Joss Whedon write the new Buffy reboot or no one at all. Well, according to this morning's LA Times, the new writer for the Buffy reboot, Whit Anderson, bit off more than she could chew. This is what the LA Times had to say:
"Two sources close to the project say that the script submitted this past summer by writer Whit Anderson fell far short of expectations and, in the end, was rejected completely."
When the reboot was announced earlier this year fans were a little skeptical at first but when it was revealed that Joss Whedon or none of the orignal cast members were going to be tied to the project the fans saw red.
Because of the firing of the writer and the negative comments and views from the loyal Buffy fan base this project may be on hold indefinitely. This is not confirmed but it has definitely lost it's steam.
Edward a local fan said this when hearing about the firing:
"Well, if Joss Whedon is not involeved then we all know that this project would be destined to fail. Maybe when he finished the Avengers he may be inclined to help this dying project if they would just ask."
So for now we wait and see. The writer's gone so what would Buffy do now?
