Scott flies inside Giant Doom to distract him while Billy and Wanda work some magic. (Its a VERY touching scene). It appears Scott was smoosed... Cassie is NOT amused.

I'm not meaning the brainwashed people. I'm meaning those that knew full well what they were doing like Magneto and Emma and then try to flip around when it suits them. Something Hawkeye seems to love doing of late. It annoys me, since Zemo was trying to reform in his other, corrupt yes, but a majority of people distrusted him. Yet when the likes of Emma or Magneto reform, it's almost clear sailing with only small hints of resistance from people or disappears quickly after they perform a heroic deed.

well for Emma and Magneto its been a process. they didn't just flip a switch. Emma was incarcerated and then helped with the Phalanax Covenant, then helped run the school with Banshee (who kept a very close eye on her) (i honestly don't even remember who she killed... Magma's horse?)

Magneto.. i know he's killed some... but i don't know abot thousands...

also its not clear sailing... there are STILL people that don't trust Magneto or Emma. Kitty for one never let emma forget she didn't trust her. Storm works with Magneto but also does not completely trust him.

when they are written well they are complex people. when they are not written well they have Hawkeye moments "I KNEW we couldn't trust her! She;s a criminal! once a criminal always a criminal!" *hank- Eyebrow raise*

There was the end of Morrison's run, though I think he was mind-controlled as well (a special brand of Kick that had the consciousness of the sadist Johnny Sublime).

that was Xorn and was retconned as not being actually Magneto but Xorn thinking he was/pretending to be Magneto... (While i Love Morrison, making Magneto an out and out Crazy and killing Jean the WAY he did urked me endlessly) point being it was not magneto... but not sure howmany people know that so Wiccan might not know that

What he did with Magneto is a bit conflicting for me--on one hand, he does make for some interesting stories when he's somewhere around anti-hero or anti-villain; on the other hand, I really can't argue with Morrison's assessment that he isn't a "mad old terrorist twat."

eh i don't know...i like the whole Martin Luther King Malcolm X parallels between Him and Xavier. I can accept that he killed, i can accept he used questionable means. I don't like that he made him out and out crazy terrorist.
