Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen! Chocochuy reporting for duty.

The Bat-Family has always been one messed up yet interesting heroic family on comic books. Just like Hirohiko Araki's Jojo no Kimiyo na Bouken, the Bat-Family has always offered us thousands of generational stories where justice is delivered on multiple levels as Batman and Robin change identities constantly. There's not a doubt that Batman and his family offer us an endless galaxy of stories, sometimes under comedy like the works of Black Cat and sometimes as drama. Well, today I conducted a brief exploration of art related to Batman on Pixiv and found me some neat pictures of the Bat-Family. I am honored at sharing them with you, comrades. Enjoy!

Our first picture brings us with one of the most difficult for the Dark Knight and his Boy (s) Wonder (s). Fighting for justice has always been a mission that leaves one with hunger so there's nothing like having a delicious cone of ice cream to relax on those restless nights at Gotham. The problem is that, even though Batman is a chocolate lover, the Robins do have more exotic tastes. The Joker, Bane and Two-Face have nothing on an army of hungry Robins.

Good thing Batman's credit card might cover all the costs of having bought almost all the ice cream parlor.

Time has not been forgiving for the Bat-Family but, luckily for them, it's never too late to go on board at the Hugging Train and, always remember, the Hugging Train doesn't make stops.

Ahhh, most of them might be a little shy to admit they like it but that's not a problem considering how much Dick Grayson seems to be enjoying this moment.

Here's to show you that not only the Bat-Family's boys are the only ones that can have fun. I give you most of the Batgirls as done by Fred Hembeck.

And last but not the least, the friendship of Batman and Superman.

Funny thing about the Bat-family is that I always gravitated more towards the women in his family far more than the blokes. I don't know why, but there's something about the Bat-Ladies that just makes them much more *interesting* to me than the guys that I can't quite put my finger on. :P

Would that be because of uncertainty... or a restraining order!

You and I both :)

It's funny because it's not at something I always do in fandoms in general (I love female characters but I also love male characters and my favourite aren't really cut around gender lines at all).

Actually that works with almost everything DC. I think Secret Six and Vic Sage are the only exceptions.

Secret Six was definitely a great book about traditionally villainous characters working together and functioning as anti-heroes. Admittedly when it comes to DC's boys I tend to lean more towards the 'bad boys' myself, largely because I find them to be a bit more complex as characters than most of the male heroes. Aside from Bruce himself, the only Bat male I actually felt had something interesting about him was Jason Todd since he's drastically different from all the other Robins prior to the arrival of Damian.

Heh, I'm very generally speaking an anti-heroes, anti-villains, tricksters, femme fatales & magnificent bastards kind of girl myself; so that definitely helps.

I haven't really read anything with Jason yet, also I plan to start soon (actually I was watching the Under Red Hood movie while you were posting this ;)) we'll see how much that'll work for me ^^

I am ridiculously happy that you mentioned JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and I can't tell you how happy I am that you posted these -- I've been wanting a group hug pic with Jason included. Too bad there isn't one with the Batgirls too >:

The musculature would be something to see, certainly.

And, of course, the thinking-on-one's-feet in the midst of battle.

The Bat-Mastercard! The spirit of the '60s show still lives! :)

Dick loves hugs! ;)

All the girls are just marvelous!

And the final scene? World's Finest #289 never gets old! ;)

Sadly, that was the spirit undead revenant of Batman and Robin a film even the prettiness of Chris O'Donnell can't save.
