The thing is, I don't personally mind the 'built like a fucking tank' version that the DCU seems to have presented in stuff like the Shade's first issue. But Liefeld draws every character with guns exactly the same as the last character with guns. His Deathstroke could just be another Deadpool cover with a few tiny different details.

I mean, if you're gonna have the guy wearing armour - make it look like fucking armour, not some gold shoulderpads that make it look like Slade lost in a fight with Danny LaRue and that's the penalty. I mean, Jim Lee's redesign at least made it look like shoulder armour or a pair of pauldrons or whatever.
