And so we ride on, the ballad of Nice and Easy
Invincible #87 was out this week, and was pretty much a textbook Invincible issue, reliably good, with a last page reveal that hints at excitement and an unexpected direction in the next issue.
All well and good, until I got to Penvincipals, and this letter, which I've edited to focus only one one section.
Here's a chap who belongs on Our Valued Customers
#3 don't make Monster Girl too loose, it displeases me. If you need someone to be easy, use Outrun she fits the bill.
To which Kirkman replied
I can't make any promises about Monster Girl and being loose. Girl's got her own prerogative.
Now, This guy is probably referring to this scene from the (admittedly very good) #83, featring Tether Tyrant, and also the return of Rex and Amanda into polite society.

Yes, all of the chaps are fawning over her. I'm not entirely sure how this is making her a "loose" woman, unless our letter writer is complaining that she's leading everybody on. Especially with what happens next.

And Amanda turns down Bulletproof's advances.
Now, I had more to say about this, but a) It's 0100 on Saturday morning and b) I worked 13 hours on Thursday and still haven't recovered.
My commentary will have to be cut down to just me saying that the letter writer is an ars and I had hoped that Kirkman would have offered more of a rebuttal to his points.
