You know, I could handle Fables seeing as the thin that most annoyed me the most there was that unsubtle anti-abortion comment of snow white. But now? Hurgh, this is such a bad characterization coming from such a high horse point of view when those parents are being so facetious regarding their very actions.

Both. It's legitimate for parents to be concerned, their reaction isn't, and their judgement of the situation is influenced by ignorance.

This is so wrong, but I can't help getting a slight satisfaction from watching parents freak out over their son's Precious Untouched Purity for a change.

Although the overt classism and slut-shaming is kind of taking the edge off the fun.

I don't think they are entirely unreasonable here. Sure, they shouldn't be going through Tim's stuff, but when your kid comes home with bruises and you know he's lying - then yes, your thoughts might go to the girlfriend. And then you tend to look at things in a different light. "She was so responsible in giving up her child" goes to "Oh my god, she had a child while she was a teenager, what else might (unwittingly or not) happen." As the mother notes, Steph is worldly, Tim's not.
