Date: 2012-01-26 08:25 am (UTC)Cool new design though. :) I'd have thought that the Thames wouldn't be a great place for Poseidon to incarnate though, what with the pollution and submerged cars I'd have thought he'd dissolve in it.

Date: 2012-01-26 08:52 am (UTC)Admittedly, I'm not sure it's deep enough for Poseidon's size... but it is tidal, so maybe he could arrange something.
(I'm also doubtful about hearing Big Ben from Tower Bridge. Do people think Tower Bridge is right next to the Palace of Westminster? I noticed in the first Sherlock Holmes movie that they ran from one to the other in a few minutes. They're not very close.)

Date: 2012-01-26 09:31 am (UTC)I think that it make presumably be deep enough for him, considering it also used to be port until semi-recently.

Date: 2012-01-26 11:20 am (UTC)"Six bells" IS a definite time depending on the watch of the boat
Middle Watch - 3am
Morning Watch - 7am
Forenoon Watch - 11am
Afternoon Watch - 3pm
Last Dog Watch - 7pm
First Watch - 11pm
It can never be 6pm. (or 6am depending on when the scene is set)
And if she's being literal then Big Ben sounding the hour has the "hour sequence" before it strikes so it's many more than "six bells"
Sorry, I'm not even nautically minded, but it just struck me as odd.
