Which is why, at times, it's best for a newbie villain to listen to advice on an expert on the subject.

Let's start with Paris Troika over here...

See, didn't that little piece of advice make everything better? :D

Now let's move on to the shocking dangerous villain, Voltaire! Even a power-house like him can occasionally use some advice.

And everyone was happy forever!

Not as good as, IIRC Kurt Busiek's creation, an earth manipulator who was called "Marquis de Sod"

... You do know that now that the Pandora's box has been opened it's only matter of time until someone comes up with "Marquis de Bog"?

Nah, that loses the all-important similarity to "Sade" I think.

That was in Troy HIckman's "Common Grounds", wasn't it? Or did Kurt use it too?

No, you're absolutely right. I KNEW that the Kurt Busiek credit didn't feel right as I typed it but couldn't think who else would have done it, given his Astro City tendencies, but Troy Hickman/Common Grounds is spot on.

I was actually oping for the MUSICIAN Voltaire. He could do "When You're Evil".

I love Wonderella's continued frustration at just losing out on Leprechaun gold.

And the faces. The faces are great.

I believe that Curt Swan was a little less than flattering about Triplicate Girl in the Legion, because he found it very hard to get interested (never mind draw repeatedly) in someone who's ability was to go from one ordinary person, to three identical ordinary people. What he thought about her usefulness once she became Duo Damsel I have no idea...

Triplicate Girl only became engaging for me (aside from the kickass Due Damsel costume of the 1970's, which resulted from a fan submission) when the notion that each one of her had a different personality was introduced, first in the 5YL era, than in the Zero Hour Legion.
