I believe that Curt Swan was a little less than flattering about Triplicate Girl in the Legion, because he found it very hard to get interested (never mind draw repeatedly) in someone who's ability was to go from one ordinary person, to three identical ordinary people. What he thought about her usefulness once she became Duo Damsel I have no idea...

Triplicate Girl only became engaging for me (aside from the kickass Due Damsel costume of the 1970's, which resulted from a fan submission) when the notion that each one of her had a different personality was introduced, first in the 5YL era, than in the Zero Hour Legion.
